ASST SSPC’s voting challenge.
Lombardy Region’s Local Health Company Santi Paolo e Carlo (ASST SSPC) turned to Eligo for the Health Council that would involve several sections – Nursing Staff, Health Technician, Non-Medical Health Executives, Medical Executives – with about 3,300 voters and planned 9 ball ots. The challenge was to ensure the organization transitioned from paper to digital voting with the goal of streamlining the entire process.
The solution
ASST SSPC implemented a comprehensive health company digital voting system. The creation of the nine ballots was handled by the Eligo team, as was the uploading of the voter and candidate registries, while voters were able to access the voting area using credentials sent via e-mail. Support to the committee was delivered remotely in real time throughout the process, from the opening of voting to the ballots, which were obtained seconds after closing, thus avoiding man days and hours for manual tallying.
Results
Due to the ease of use and efficiency of the Eligo system, the ASST SSPC experienced high participation and overall satisfaction among eligible voters. The committee appreciated the entire voting process for its ease, speed, and intuitiveness. Voters-who were able to vote from their own devices-were enthusiastic about moving away from traditional in-person and paper-only methods that took time away from their core activities.
