Q: My association counts thousands of voters. How can Eligo manage large-scale elections?
A:Eligo is fully capable of managing elections with more than 100,000 voters and can handle up to 1,000 concurrent users during assembly voting events. This is possible because we regularly optimize our software and leverage advanced scalability practices provided by cloud providers. Since 2005, we’ve successfully managed numerous large-scale elections thanks to the platform’s efficiency and elasticity.
Q: Can the platform integrate with existing systems to update voter lists automatically? If so, which ones?
A: Yes, Eligo online voting platform can integrate with existing systems through a set of REST APIs that comply with the highest security standards. These APIs facilitate the management of electoral events and voter registration, enabling seamless integration with systems like ERP, CRM, or any other organizational tools you use.
Q: Usually on my voting ballot, I include additional information. How customizable are the ballots? Can we add specific instructions or content?
A: Absolutely! Our ballots are highly customizable. You can add titles, subtitles, set minimum and maximum preferences, include pictures of candidates, or even brief descriptions. You can also manage options like blank or spoiled ballots. However, we recommend keeping the content clear and concise to maintain readability.
Q: How do you prevent any form of tampering or fraud?
A: We understand that security is a major concern. Eligo employs robust security measures and data encryption, ensuring a physical separation between the voter and their vote, which keeps the vote secret and anonymous. It’s not possible to vote more than once, and the system is compliant with GDPR to protect voter data. Our technological infrastructure is regularly tested for vulnerabilities to ensure the highest level of security.
Q: What happens if I need some help during the voting operation? What support do you offer?
A: Eligo offers several levels of support depending on your needs. You can use the platform in self-service mode, where you’ll have access to our comprehensive knowledge base with articles, guides, and video demos. If you need more direct support, we offer premium support via phone or email, and for full-service projects, a dedicated member of our team will manage and oversee the entire election process for you.
Q: What happens if a voter loses their email containing the credentials?
A: No worries! The online voting platform allows the administrator to generate new credentials. If a voter loses their login credentials, the system can create a new set, which invalidates the previous ones, ensuring security and uninterrupted access to the voting area.
